The Queer History Research Collection (QHRC) is an artificial collection containing items of interest about LGBTQ+ communities within Oregon State University and to a lesser extent, the city of Corvallis, and the state of Oregon.

Acquisition Note:
This collection was created by Natalia Fernández, curator and archivist of the OSU Queer Archives. The bulk of the materials were originally in the Oregon State University Memorabilia Collection. They were removed in 2017 to create the QHRC, with additional materials collected and added by Fernández.

- The Queer History Research Files contain, but are not limited to, information on the following: LGBTQ+ campus events, such as Lavender Graduation, the OSU Drag Show, a 2016 vigil for the tradegy in Orlando, Florida; OSU Pride Center and other campus cultural resource centers; student movements; offices and committees dedicated to diversity and LGBTQ+ issues on campus; building information, including a map of gender-inclusive restrooms on campus; and student groups and associations, such as the Rainbow Continuum and Circle of Friends. The QHRC also includes a copy of the book The Vice Clique: Portland's Great Sex Scandal by George Painter. Also included is the artwork created as part of OSQA's annual Glitter in the Archives event, which began in 2016.

- On June 15, 2016 students, staff, faculty, and community members gathered at Oregon State University’s Student Experience Center to pay tribute to the 49 people killed in an Orlando, Florida LGBTQ+ night club. Attendees were invited to share their thoughts and reflections to add to the altar that remained in the space for the days that followed. The vigil was hosted by Diversity and Cultural Engagement. A digital file, which includes an image of the vigil - an altar - as well as images of all the individual pieces of the altar, is available for researchers in the Reading Room.
