Abstract

The Staff Directories for Oregon State University provide information about faculty, staff, and departments from the early 20th century through the beginning of the 21st century. The directories include individuals' names, titles, department affiliation and location, and residential addresses as well as campus and residential telephone numbers.

Scope and Content Notes

The Staff Directories for Oregon State University provide information about faculty, staff, and departments from the early 20th century through the begininng of the 21st century. The bulk of the directories are for 1950-2001; however, several directories from the period 1905-1940 are included. The directories include individuals' names, titles, department affiliation and office location, and residential addresses as well as campus and residential telephone numbers.

The 1905 and 1908 directories also list students that were enrolled at Oregon Agricutural College. In these two directories the residential locations are general, such as the intersection of two streets, and office locations list the campus building.

In the 1913-1914 and 1920 directories, the locations of faculty members' offices, lecture rooms, and laboratories are also included. Beginning in the mid-1970s, the directory included a campus map.

Publication of a separate staff directory ceased in the early 2000s.
