The Academic Affairs Photographs consist of images taken by the staff and students of the Writing Lab as well as photographs taken of exhibits in the Kerr Administration Building display case, and photographs submitted with the nomination packet supporting Charles A. de Deurwaerder's receipt of the 1972 Elizabeth P. Ritchie Distinguished Professor Award.

Scope and Content Notes

The collection includes images primarily depicting various Writing Lab activities, resources, and staff, instructional signage, students receiving assistance from staff, student use of audiovisual equipment, books and other printed resources, classroom instruction, and a staff Halloween party.

Other images in this collection show students engaged in study around campus, exhibit case displays in the lobby of the Kerr Administration Building, and close-up shots of flowers on campus.

Subjects of the Kerr Administration Building display case include: the OSU Extension Service, the 1972 homecoming reunion and football game, the Oregon Student Public Interest Research Group (OSPIRG), careers in pharmacy, the Sea Grant College, the School of Forestry, and Oregon habitats.

Also in this collection are photographs of landscapes, architecture, students, and field trips; and work on the Corvallis riverfront.
