The Genetics Program Records document the administration of the program and provide information about the curriculum, faculty, and students. The records include correspondence, course syllabi and outlines, curriculum vitae for program faculty, lists of program faculty and graduates, meeting minutes, reports, and statistical information.
Administrative records document budget management, curriculum development, nomination of faculty for the program, scholarships, long range planning, program social events, and seminars. The records include data compiled for various reviews and surveys pertaining to student enrollment, the number of graduated students, enrollment by course, and aggregate information about gender and race of students in the program.
Of special note are long range planning materials prepared in 1986 and a self-study conducted in 2006.
The bulk of the records in the collection were created or assembled by Genetics Program Directors Dallice Mills and Walt Ream.
