The Technology Educators of Oregon (TEO) was established in 1990 as a statewide membership organization to support and encourage technology programs in Oregon middle schools, high schools, and colleges. The TEO works to enhance educational opportunities in automotives, construction, electronics, manufacturing, and technology. This organization was established with the merger in 1990 of the Oregon Vocational Trade and Technical Association (OVTTA) and the Oregon Technology Education Association (OTEA). The OTEA was formerly known as the Oregon Industrial Arts Association (OIAA) and the Oregon Industrial Education Association (OIEA).
