International Research and Development Office Records., 1993-2007

Scope and Content Note

The International Research and Development Office Records consist solely of the reports and publications generated by the Pond/Dynamics/Aquaculture Collaborative Research Support Program. The records include administrative reports, technical reports, catalogs of publications, and the programs' newsletter.

The administrative reports provide information on the finances and management of the program as well as summaries of the research programs and lists of publications resulting from the research. The technical reports provide specific research program accomplishments. The records also include a final report of the Egypt project, published in 1995.

Aquanews is the quarterly newsletter of the program and provides non-technical information to program participants through news stories and information on project activities, meetings, travel, and site visits.

An addition to the International Research and Development Office Records (Accession 2010:063) consists of five reports documenting projects for the Women in International Development program, administered at OSU by the Office of International Research and Development. The reports consist of the following: "Proceedings of the Colloquium on Rwanda Women in Aquaculture"; "An Approach To Integrate Gender Variable in Rwanda Pond Dynamics and Aquaculture Collaborative Research Support Program"; "Rwanda Women in Aquaculture: Context, Contributions and Constraints"; "FAO/ESHW Consultancy for Curriculum Development: Women in Agriculture-Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, India"; and "Socio-Economic Analysis of Agro-Based Women's Income Generating Activities for Women Farmers in Malawi."
