Scope and Content Note

Accession 98:130 consists Cooperative Education program records including a brochure, grant project final and financial status reports, and reports of the establishment of cooperative education and internship programs within the Colleges of Business and Science; the Agricultural and Resource Economics, Technical Journalism, Art, Mathematics, Geography, Vocational and Technical Education, Speech Communication, and Foreign Languages Departments; the Educational Opportunities Program; and the Agricultural Sciences Academic Program at Eastern Oregon State College.

Accessions 2000:001 and 2001:001 consist of announcements sent by e-mail to various OSU deans, managers, and Department Heads of events and seminars for Fall 2000 and Fall 2001, as sponsored by Career Services.

Accession 2007:077 includes annual reports, brochures, correspondence, course syllabi and outlines, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, organizational reports, photographs, placement statistics, press releases, publications, and studies. Documenting the office's administration and publicity of their services, these records also reflect the instructional role of the office, the cooperative education program, and the development of policies and procedures. Records from the College Placement Committee that predate the establishment of Career Services in 1968 can also be found in this transfer. The photographs, numbering 2 prints and 3 negatives, depict office staff.

Accession 2008:084 includes materials generated by the Office of Career Services and includes brochures, career guides, flyers, newsletters, posters, and a blank salary survey form. These items document Career Fairs organized by Career Services and various services offered by the office.

Accession 2014:085 consists of materials generated by the Career Services Office that is made up of annual reports, awards records, event programs, flashdrives, flyers, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, photographs, posters, and student evaluation forms. These records primarily reflect the publicity and evaluation of career fairs organized by Career Services and include programs and forms completed by students providing feedback about the fairs.The awards records pertain to Student of the Year awards. Numbering 109 photographs in total (55 prints and 54 negatives), the images depict a Career Services staff retreat, a career fair, and the Career Services office areas. The two flashdrives contain files about staff retreats, staff mettings, strategic planning goals, career fairs, and awards.
