Series one consists of Dean Earl L. Packard's correspondence and reports files. Series two includes registration statistics summaries and enrollment distributions by credit hours. Series three consists of programs, faculty and registration lists, correspondence, and grade lists for the JESSI program. Biennial reports, series four, highlight the activities of the college for the given two year period. An addition to the College of Science Records (Accession 2004:085) consists of records generated by the General Science Department and the Biology Program and includes articles, correspondence, grant proposals, newspaper clippings, undergraduate course bulletins, and a Biology Program self-study report. About half of the materials in this transfer have been organized into biographical files for the following faculty: Michael Mix, Henry Van Dyke, Frank Beer, David Willis, and John Zernel.
A second addition to the College of Science Records (Accession 2014:008) is made up of essays detailing the histories of various departments within the College of Science as well as correspondence about the writing/compilation of those histories. In addition to histories about the College of Science as a whole, these essays document the following departments: Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Entomology, General Science, Zoology, Botany and Plant Pathology, Biochemistry and Biophysics, Statistics, Natural Resources, and the Science Research Institute. Also included in this transfer are two brochures about College of Science scholarships and a diskette containing the 2004 College of Science Marketing and Communications Review.
