February 25, 1946.(Large Version) Pauling writes that, given the conclusion of his various war-based research projects, he'll not likely be traveling to Pittsburgh in the near future. Pauling also briefly discusses family news, noting that Linus Jr. is still on active duty in the U.S. Army. He likewise mentions that he was misquoted on the atomic bomb matter, stating that he was never involved in the bomb project and therefore could only make assumptions. Date: February 25, 1946
