Page 1 Letter from Linus Pauling to Jerry Donohue. December 23, 1952.(Large Version) Pauling writes to provide his detailed reaction to the protein structure helixes upon which Donohue has been working. Pauling suggests that Donohue develop a comprehensive discussion of these structures for publication, rather than providing a brief overview in a letter to the Journal of the American Chemical Society, as Donohue had proposed. Pauling also expresses his frustration with the delay in publication of his Nature article, and notes that a permanent position for Donohue can probably be arranged at Caltech.
