Letter from Peter Pauling to Linus and Ava Helen Pauling. February 3, 1953.
Peter writes in anticipation of his parents' arrival in England, discussing several details that need arranging for their stay, including specific models of cars that might be worth purchasing while Linus and Ava Helen are in Europe. Peter also adds that Linus Pauling's "DNA structure is similar to one that FHC Crick and Jim Watson thought about a while ago. They, however, worked on the unionized molecule, the salt, rather than on the acid." Transcript.
