  • Letter dictated by LP [Signed in his absence by Florence F. Dick] to John L. Heilbron, Re: LP says he has two stapled volumes of his theoretical work during the period of 1923 to 1929 and a letter from J. H Van Vleck from 1926. LP says he is sending one of the volumes under separate cover and asks if Heilbron wants the other one and if he wants any additional material. LP asks if Heilbron is interested in lecture notes. • Letter dictated by LP to Mrs. John Caminiti RE: Tells Caminiti that he is sending her a copy of his book No More War! under separate cover. Recalls that he recently had X-rays taken of his teeth because he had a severe toothache, but that AHP objected to having X-rays taken of her teeth because there was no specific reason to do so. Agree that children should not have X-ray pictures made of their teeth without a sound reason, but that he doubts Caminiti could get anywhere by filing a damage suit against a dentist. Notes that a law requiring parental consent before X-ray pictures are taken of a child would be worthwhile.
