    Professor Linus Pauling

    California Institute of Technology

    Pasadena, California

    Dear Professor Pauling:

We are looking forward to the panel

discussion on Mental Retardation on the first

of May, 1964. I am writing this letter to ask

if you could provide me with a glossy print of

a picture of yourself, and some biographical

data, to use for publicity. We get out a flyer

for each of the Forums and we should like to

have the pictures of the panelists on this flyer.

I shall let you know later about the

dinner before the Forum meeting. It will

probably be at a very good Chinese restaurant

which we know in Los Angeles. We hope, of

course, that Mrs. Pauling will accompany you.

    Sincerely yours,
