    6 March 1961

    Dear Crellie,

It was wonderful to have you here for my birthday celebration. I was sorry to see Linda go away on Saturday. She had been checked up on by Dr. Abowitz, who found nothing wrong with her.

Mama and I are to arrive in Seattle on UAL 890, due at 7:55 P.M., Tuesday 14 March. I think that it might be better for us to stay in the hotel the two nights that we are there, but if you have room and can arrange it we would be happy to stay with you. Make any arrangement that you want for us to see George, either that night or Wednesday night.

I think that we shall be busy with the lawyer, Mr. Francis Hoague, most of the day. I shall write to him, giving him your address and phone number, but possibly you should telephone him (Main 2-1604) in order to find out what he plans to have us do when we file the libel suit.

We are to leave on Thursday 16 March, 2 P.M., UAL 757.

Give our love to Lucy, Crellie, and the girls.

    Love from

    [Linus Pauling]
