Letter from Linus Pauling to Hansa Raj Mehta November 29, 1955

Pauling writes that he has read Mehta’s manuscript with interest, but has not been able to find anything in the manuscript to change his opinion about the three-electron bond. He critiques Mehta’s structure for napthalene. Pauling also mentions that the idea of the existence of nascent hydrogen has been abandoned.  View Transcript
