Letter from Linus Pauling to Frank Aydelotte. September 25, 1951Pauling writes to apologize for not visiting when he and Ava Helen made their east coast trip and trans-continental auto trip. They both got influenza and had to stay in bed at the Biltmore Hotel. He also writes that although he has read some articles and heard of the political controversies regarding some Russian scientists, he does not understand what is going on. View Transcript
