Letter from Linus Pauling to R.A. Wallace, Adhor Milk Co. January 31, 1950

Pauling writes to submit a claim for damages resulting from the killing of his dog, which was struck by an Adhor Milk Co. delivery truck in the Paulings' driveway on December 25, 1949. Pauling includes handwritten notes on the puppy's pedigree and phone calls exchanged with Wallace at the end of May after the letter went unanswered. The Adhor Milk Co. refused to handle small claims. Pauling requested that Adhor Milk Co. reimburse him $75 for the puppy.  View Transcript
