Letter from Linus Pauling to John Burchard. July 18, 1945

Pauling requests an explanation regarding the denial by the OSRD of his request to present an open discussion on the oxygen meter developed at Caltech. He notes that Dr. Brockway was granted permission despite having been involved in very little of the project other than its post-production manufacturing. Pauling informs Burchard that Caltech will submit manuscripts on the apparatus to be cleared for publication by the OSRD.  View Transcript
