Letter from Linus Pauling to Reuben E. Wood. June 23, 1945

Pauling suggests that, unless Wood is made director at the Maryland Research Laboratories, he should resign his position. Pauling offers to contact several private companies, including Bell Laboratories and the Kodak Eastman Company, on Wood's behalf. He also suggests that Wood consider a position at Pomona College or even temporary placement at Caltech. Pauling offers to provide Wood with any recommendation he may require.  View Transcript
