- Copy of letter from J.A. Hyland, Manufacturing Department of the McGraw-Hill Book Company, Inc., to Dr. E.B. Wilson Jr., RE: Assures him that the proofs will be forwarded as outlined in his letter. Assumes that one set of cut dummies will be necessary and says he will send them to LP. Tells Wilson that he is sending a copy of this letter to LP since he recently wrote Mr. Thompson asking about their progress. Informs him that he asked their printer to send the proofs directly to LP in order to avoid delay. Says that the 5 tracings that he hasn't seem will be sent to him within the next few days. - Letter from Henry Gilman, Iowa State College to LP RE: Encloses manuscript from Dr. Johnson (which he received at the New York meeting), "Modern Electronic Theory of Valence" for comment from LP.
