John B. Alexander Sr. is believed to have been John Billings Alexander, an OAC student in the early 1920s who served as President of the Associated Students of OAC during the 1922-1923 school year. Following his graduation, Alexander enjoyed a career as a construction and hydraulic engineer, working for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. As a result of his occupation, Alexander traveled widely both within the United States and abroad, at various points working in Mexico and Afghanistan.
His son, John Brockett Alexander, also attended Oregon State College, graduating in 1949 with a degree in Business.
