Jackman, Edwin Russell, Photographic Collection, ca. 1875-1964

The collection consists of images collected or taken by E. R. Jackman, many of which were used to illustrate his books and other writings. Most were taken in the eastern, Columbia Basin, and southern parts of Oregon, where Jackman spent considerable time as an extension specialist.

Royal G. Jackson Papers

Royal G. Jackson Papers, circa 1905 - 1992

The Royal G. Jackson Papers consist of materials created or assembled by Jackson in the course of his research. The bulk of the materials pertain to the history of the Oregon State University College of Forestry, McDonald – Dunn Research forest, the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp Arboretum, and nature-based tourism in central Oregon and Costa Rica. The papers include extensive oral history sound recordings and photographs, in addition to manuscripts, publications and reference materials. Jackson was a faculty member in the Oregon State University College of Forestry from 1970 until 2004.

Annabelle E. Jaramillo Papers

Annabelle E. Jaramillo Papers, 1967-2001

The Annabelle E. Jaramillo Papers document Jaramillo's work as a member of the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council from 1997 to 2001; her advocacy for minorities and women with the Oregon Commission on Hispanic Affairs and National Image, Inc.; her work as a research botanist with the U.S. Forest Service; and her graduate research at Portland State University.

The C.D. Johnson Lumber Company Toledo Mill Collection consists of photographs, newspaper articles, and other materials pertaining primarily to the mill in Toledo, Oregon. The C.D. Johnson Lumber Company was established in 1922 as a subsidiary of the Pacific Spruce Corporation and was, at one time, the largest spruce mill in the world.

Gary Jolliff Papers

Gary Jolliff Papers, 1962-2004

The Gary Joliff Papers document the research, teaching, and professional service activities of Joliff, a faculty member in the Oregon State University Crop Science Department from 1976 until his retirement in 2002. Jolliff specialized in the study of meadowfoam and its development as a crop in the Willamette Valley and lead the Oregon Experiment Station new crops research project from 1978 until 2002.
