Hugh E. Morrison Papers, 1937-1964View associated digital content.

The Hugh E. Morrison Papers document Morrison's research on vegetable crop and hop pest control, symphylids, and the application of pesticides including DDT.  Morrison was a research entomologist with the Oregon State University Agricultural Experiment Station from 1937 until his death in 1967.

Statement on Description: This finding aid was prepared under remote working conditions in 2020 without access to the original collection; consequently, the number of original photographs in the collection could not be determined by the finding aid author and is not included in this finding aid.

Acquisition Note: These materials were transferred in two accesssions to the former University Archives.  The initial accession was received from the Entomology Department in 2002; the second accession was transferred by the Oregon State University Library in 2007.  It is not known how or when the Library received the materials.
