The William M. Lunch Papers reflect Bill Lunch's career as a political science professor at Oregon State University and political analyst for Oregon Public Broadcasting. Lunch, who specialized in American government and environmental policy, joined the faculty of the Political Science Department in 1984 and began serving as a radio and television political analyst in 1988. Lunch retired from OSU in 2011.

The Special Collections & Archives Research Center holdings include limited documentation of political science instruction at Oregon State in the Political Science Department Records (RG 075), College of Liberal Arts Records (RG 143), and Memorabilia Collection. Materials pertaining to public broadcasting in Oregon prior to 1980 are available in the KOAC Records (RG 015). The Center includes the papers of several Oregon politicians, including Helen Berg (Corvallis Mayor), Annabelle Jaramillo (Benton County Commissioner), Tony Van Vliet (State Legislator), and Liz Van Leeuwen (State Legislator).
