Paul Lawrence Farber (b. 1944) is a prolific and internationally known historian of science who has nurtured the study of scientific discovery from his post at Oregon State University for forty years. Dr. Farber has established himself as a world-class historian of science through his research into the naturalist tradition and evolutionary ethics, his extensive participation in the historical community including a term as President of the History of Science Society, and editor of the Journal of the History of Biology. The Paul Lawrence Farber Papers include correspondence, institutional records, teaching materials, typescripts, and reprints.
